Experienced or Novice (Resort course available) Costa Rica has unique diving.  wide variety of fish and creatures abound including whales, sea turtles, GIANT Manta Rays, and even shark dives. 

You can walk from Villa Daiquiri for both easy and Expert hikes.  Tours for National Park and volcano hiking available.  Good probability to see exotic animals.  This photo is looking down on Playa Hermosa Beach.  Villa Daiquiri is hidden in the trees.

Pacific Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Red Snapper, the list goes on and on.  A wide variety of experienced captains are available.  Small inexpensive close to shore boats are also available.  You bring home your fillets or have our restaurant turn your catch into a FEAST!

Local rides are peaceful through the mountain and then you ride down to the beach and into the ocean.  Available rides near Arenal volcano are nothing like the sedate follow the leader  rides we experience in the states.  You are let loose to gallop on your own through wide expansion of fields and intimate trail to magnificent waterfall.

SURFING in Costa Rica is legendary with world class surfers making the trek here.  Good News/Bad news .  Playa Hermosa is NOT a good surfing location!  The waters, because of the bay are very calm and it is why families love Playa Hermosa.  GREAT SURFING is available within 1 hour drive.

A variety of trips available ranging from large catamaran "Booze Cruises" to intimate sailboats, to our family favorite, Deserted Beach "Chill Day".  Cruise to a beach only accessible by water and have Robinson Caruso fantasies.  Lounge or explore while captain erects grill and cooks lunch and cocktails.  Usually some spearfishing occurs and fresh catch is added to the lunch.  short scuba dives or snorkeling also available with this trip!

Costa Rica is famous for its Road & Mountain biking.  Many Iron Man training is done here.  Plus, Ebikes and mountain bikes are available to rent.

Costa Rica is the founder of modern day zip lining.  From it humble days when we had to climb trees, to now very sophisticated, carbon fiber systems.  One of the longest in world (1.1 MILES!) is near by allowing for "SUPERMAN" STYLE.

Numerous ATV tours abound from the tame to the ultimate challenging!

Numerous sites for Hot Springs, Mud Baths, and even Hot Flowing Rivers exist throughout Costa Rica.  Several are available with a Day Tour.

COSTA RICA is famous for its many waterfalls.  From the local Cortez Falls (with a hidden jungle swimming/diving hole) to tours visiting La Fortuna or Rio Celeste (Brilliant BLUE Water), aficionados will not be disappointed.
